The opportunity was to create a stand-out brand for the very particular, very traditional marketplace for custom trophies. 

This was a marketplace which did not have much differentiation across the UK.

We began work by holding workshops to help develop a value proposition for the company. This gave us real insight into how big the opportunity was for the brand to position itself as the go-to for selection, accessibility and experience.

Most, if not all of the competitors rely on traditional channels, like high street footfall.

We developed the brand identity in line with the new name, leveraging the context wherever we could. Elements of the type were manipulated to take on the form of a ‘creature’ this was the beginnings of the ‘monster’ we were to further develop as the campaign rolled out.

As we developed the branding, we also worked heavily on the Trophy Monster team’s new e-commerce site. This included initially developing the site map through workshops and insights, to optimising the customer journey.
